Jodi Lee Orndorff – Director of Sales
I have been with Capital Party Rentals for 18 years now. I started as an outside sales executive for 16 years, and then moved into the position of Director of Sales for the past 2 years. I graduated from Shepherd College, in West Virginia, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. I have enjoyed meeting new people along my career path and have made many wonderful friendships along the way. In my free time I enjoy crafting, road biking and (as a Hawaii native) everything BEACH related!
Salem Shaheen – GM
As the newest member of the Capital Party Rental team, I am excited to be here and work with such talented and professional individuals. I have transitioned to CPR from a 30-year career in the hospitality industry. I am married and live in Mclean VA with my lovely wife of 40+ years. I enjoy cooking and am an avid wine lover.
Aisha Malik Rodriguez – Senior Sales Executive
I have worked as a Senior Sales Executive with Capital Party Rentals for over 11 years! From a wedding in the backyard to large venues, non-profit runs, LARGE music festivals, galas, government and embassy events to ground breaking and grand openings, I have done it. I love helping clients create their vision into reality for events by bringing in my experience of over 20 years in the hospitality world. Born and raised in Fairfax County, I am a true-blue Virginian! Proud daughter of Pakistani parents and happily married wife of an amazing Puerto Rican husband. I love to travel more than anything else in the world with Hawaii as my home away from home!
La'Toya Walker – Senior Sales Executive
Northern Virginia has been my home from the beginning. I have lived in multiple counties in VA & MD and have truly found a love for both states. I also enjoy being close to DC for both my personal and professional life. I have been in this industry for 5+ years now and feel like I was born for it. Putting a smile on my clients face by turning their visions into reality is what I live for, it’s just simply gratifying.
Roxanne Sonder – Sales Consultant
I started my career, over 30 years ago, in Real Estate working for a developer as they broke ground for Ballston Metro Center. I was involved in the planning of broker events that led to their massive Grand Opening - and I was hooked on events! As I moved on to work for both commercial and residential companies, I continued my event planning through tenant retention, prospective buyers, agents and community events. I managed a high end venue in DC and spent 14 years as a specialty linen provider. My heart is happiest helping people create memorable occasions, both social and corporate, that change lives and move businesses forward. To unwind, I run to the beautiful beaches of the Crystal Coast in North Carolina, travel, spend time with family, friends & my sweet dog Lucky, and try to check off items on my bucket list!
Margaret Smith – Sales Executive
I am homegrown, Northern Va., from right around the corner. I’ve been working in the event industry for 20 years now. I have the most experience in weddings and galas. My favorite type of venue to work with is wineries.
Kim Sawyer – Inventory Manager
I live in Maryland and have been in the area for over 30 years but I am not a native. My father was in the Marine Corp so we traveled a lot. I’ve worked in this industry for 25+ years. The events I have the most experience in are street festivals and weddings.
Ben Fischer – Assistant GM
I have over 25 years in management experience. I studied business management at IUPUI Indiana and BCC Florida. I have been with Capital Party Rentals for 4 years now, managing our ops and sales teams with a strong focus on team work! In my free time, I enjoys fishing, hunting and country music! The motto that I live by is, "Make a difference today... big or small, just make a difference."
